How Did We Miss This? Japanese Twin Peaks Coffee Commercials

Those of you who grasp at any hint from Mark Frost or David Lynch that they might ever possibly one day have a thought about more Twin Peaks crossing their mind may not be aware that in Japan, there was more. Certainly I wasn’t aware until Tyler Foster at DVD Talk tipped me off.
These four ads, which tell one complete story and are augmented heavily with Georgia brand canned coffee, look to have been shot concurrently with the series, adding a Japanese sidekick for Agent Cooper. Considering the intent, they’re remarkably true to the source material – except, perhaps, that they’re more coherent most of the time.
