Michael Rooker, Steve Jones and CM Punk in a Star Wars Fan Film (For Real!)

To coin a phrase, you might say this webisode is Punk as fuck.
The latest in a series of promo videos for the charity lightsaber relay race “Course of the Force” sees a motley collection of celebrity bounty hunters from wildly varying corners of fandom. Rooker’s Boba Fett/Merle Dixon mashup in particular is like a T-shirt waiting to happen.
One thing I don’t understand, though – considering Lucasfilm are partners in this venture, why can’t they use the actual Star Wars theme instead of that terrible impersonation? Or is terrible impersonation the point?
Regardless, if the cast of Episode VII is half as interesting as this group, it’ll be a good start. Video after the jump.
