Ontario-based metal band Protest the Hero have a new single out which, as best I can tell, is anti war and a condemnation of mutually assured destruction. They demonstrate this concept by having fans in costumes do battle. (I hesitate to say “cosplayers,” since some are wearing store-bough costumes, others are wearing incomplete costumes, and cosplayers can be sensitive about the way their self-chosen moniker gets bandied around.)
Though if they’re really protesting conflict, the ending sends a mixed message…
