Nerdist Unearths “The Blade Runner Holiday Special”

Okay – to be honest, I was hoping for a little more Lucas-specific satire – an animated short creating a hip new character, perhaps, or a lengthy non-dialogue scene between less intelligent robot toys. This is a bit more of an SNL-type take on the Blade Runner characters at Christmas, but for the most part it’s fairly on point, and definitely light years ahead of that terrible drunk Justice League Christmas thing they posted yesterday (seriously, don’t click unless you think Hawkwoman shitting on the Batmobile is funny).
The ultimate joke, of course, is that the theatrical cut was like Christmas for the lead characters compared to every subsequent version.
