Cuphead: Video Game Looks Like a ’30s Cartoon and I WANT NOW
More people should make games that look like this. Something that reminds me of when I first saw Dragon’s Lair in the arcade, without the crushing disappointment of actually playing Dragon’s Lair. Cuphead is a run-and-gun/fighting game hybrid, that’s inspired by a bunch of other games that mostly have the word “Contra” in the title.
And it looks like an interactive Popeye cartoon. Or possibly Russell Crowe’s Foightin’ ‘Round the World: The Game.
