There’s a Tablet Computer for Babies Now

You know, when my brother was a year old, he could keep endlessly occupied playing with jam-jar lids. Now we’re expected to give babies computers? Says a spokesman for Vtech, which makes the just-announced Innotab 3 Baby, for children 12 months and up, “It saves you having to give your child your iPhone.”
Hey, you know what else saves you having to give your 12-month old baby your iPhone? NOT GIVING A BABY YOUR IPHONE.
Of course, one look at either Twitter or the political blogosphere, and you’d be forgiven for thinking there’s nothing but babies on there already anyhow. Perhaps actual infants can set them straight.
