Yes, nothing says true love like a guy in a goofy costume pursuing you in his neon yellow helicopter that, based on everything we know about science and vehicles, shouldn’t actually work at all.
Chicago-based cartoonist Mark Anderson recently picked up these ’66-era cards on eBay, and they give you a sense of where the comics were right around the time the Adam West show came out. Of course, we never got goofy dragons on the show, though I have no doubt Batman could have slain them with true love, had it been necessary.
