The Wookiee Wins: Peter Mayhew Is in Star Wars Episode VII as Chewbacca

This officially makes him the first original trilogy star to be confirmed. (R2-D2 does not count as yet because Kenny Baker is not certain – or even likely – to be inside.)
And yet the last few times I’ve seen him at conventions, he’s been in a wheelchair. So what does this mean for Chewie? CGI legs? A wheeled Wookiee? Or shots so quick they only require the actor to stand for seconds at a time?
Oh wait, I forgot…JJ Abrams. So we’ll probably see him seated all movie, until the very end, when something stupider than we can possibly imagine is revealed about his ambulatory capabilities. What’s your guess?
