Yes, those goggled, peeled-potato looking sidekicks of Despicable Me already have a poster for next year’s spin-off movie, in which we learn their history of serving super-villains, and Sandra Bullock plays a particularly nasty case. Most of the movie will take place in the ’60s, when pretty much everyone would have wanted to be an arch-enemy of order.
At least the franchise will not continue to depend on Steve Carell’s utterly emasculated Gru. Look, adopting kids is a virtue in real life, but it sucks for your cred if you’re a fictional comedic villain.
