Quentin Tarantino Working with Matt Wagner on a Django/Zorro Crossover Comic

Good news for fans of Old West vigilante comic books: Dynamite Entertainment and DC Comics announced yesterday the Django/Zorro crossover (you didn’t know you wanted but once you think about it you kind of really do) is coming soon.

Quentin Tarantino will be co-plotting the story along with comic book veteran Matt Wagner, and Django Unchained producer Reginald Hudlin will help with editing duties.

“I’m very very excited about both this story and the opportunity to work with Matt,” Tarantino said in the release. “It was reading his Zorro stories that convinced me what a good idea it was to join these two icons together. And the story idea we came up with is thrilling, and I think will be an exciting new chapter for both characters.”

Of course he’s gonna say that, but still, this could be good…
