Groo vs Conan Might Be the Greatest Team-Up of Our Time

Has hyperbole gotten the best of me? Perhaps, but I think this is the best team-up since Archie met the Punisher. Proving once more that we are living in a golden age of comics, Dark Horse will be unleashing the first issue of Groo vs. Conan on July 23rd. The four-part crossover miniseries will be written by Mark Evanier and Sergio Aragones, with art by Aragones and Thomas Yeates. Hero Complex has a wonderful rundown of how the project — which will include some wonderful meta flourishes — came into being.
So, what happens when the Wanderer meets the Barbarian? We’ve got another preview image after the jump.
