Gina Carano to Finally Play a Marvel Character, but Probably Not Who You Expect

Ever since these superhero shared universe became a thing, people have been tossing around Gina Carano’s name, usually for Wonder Woman, and occasionally with a backlash comment about her acting isn’t at the same level as her ass-kicking (a standard rarely applied to men, as most of the core cast of the Expendables movies proves).

Well, she finally scored a role – she’ll be Angel Dust, of the Morlocks, in Deadpool. In reporting this news, the Hollywood Reporter also mentions that Colossus is in the movie – could it be they’re still using a version of the original script?

Anyway, this should please everyone – it’s not a huge lead role, but it will allow her to beat people up good.
