Angel Looks Trapped in The Prestige in New X-Men: Apocalypse Art

[Site advisory: I’m sick today so posts may be more irregularly spaced than usual as I collapse in a heap between doing them.]

As far as I know, Ben Foster is not returning to the role, but the piece of production art below just unveiled by Bryan Singer made me think of him. And that other movie Hugh Jackman was in playing a duelling magician against Batman. Point is – I think – if we were expecting Singer to ever jump on board the current trend of comic-boom movie costumes that actually kinda look like the comic costumes, this hints once again that he’s still attached to the dark and darker look that he and Christopher Nolan got the current cycle going with.

Some production art. #XMEN #XmenApocalypse
