SDCC 2015: Warcraft: Bonds of Brotherhood Coming From Legendary Comics

Legendary is making a big push for the Warcraft movie at this year’s con, and hot on the heels of our interview with Richard Taylor on its effects and Duncan Jones about directing it, we’ve got news of a graphic prequel from Legendary’s comics division.

Warcraft: Bonds of Brotherhood was announced at yesterday’s Blizzard panel. It’s going to be written by Paul Cornell (Doctor Who, Captain Britain and MI 13, Action Comics) from a story by Blizzard’s Chris Metzen, and drawn by Mat Broome (Stormwatch, WildC.A.T.s, Batman: No Man’s Land). It’s due out in May of 2016.
