Through the Looking Glass has never been properly adapted, which makes this doubly frustrating – there was a live-action version with Kate Beckinsale that stuck reasonably close to the text, but was visually quite limited. With the first movie already having completely mashed up the Red Queen with the Queen of Hearts, and changed up the Jabberwock, there’s no way this will be anywhere near it.
I’d be more mad at this movie than fans are with Jem, except I lost hope long ago and have (mostly) embraced the indifference.
