A New, More Diverse A-Team Is Coming

The last one wasn’t so bad…

Yes, Sleepy Hollow executive producer Albert Kim is writing a new adaptation for Fox TV that will include both male and female team members. While the original team had female reporter Amy Allen tagging along, and later Tawnia Baker, they were never on an equal playing field with the boys, either on the show or behind the scenes, where George Peppard would constantly remind them, as he saw it, that it was a show for boys and nobody wanted girls on it. But with military forces more gender-integrated now, why not? Nobody thought it would work for Starbuck on Battlestar Galactica, but now people love Katee Sackhoff more than Dirk Benedict. Hey, maybe she should replace him as “Facewoman” in this, too? Galactica in-jokes do have a precedent on the show:

Who would you cast as a female B.A., if you could? Leslie Jones?
