Actual Prototype Military Exoskeleton Is Way More Subtle Than in Edge of Tomorrow



Upon clicking the video to see an exoskeleton, I wondered where it was. This looks like a mo-cap suit with a few extra straps attached, though it chirps like hydraulic technology. Is it possible, all this time, that the exo-suits we’ve seen in sci-fi movies would drastically restrict mobility, and having tubes and flexible straps instead enhances a full range of motion? Them DARPA folks is smart.

I want one of these for Comic-Con when I’m lugging all my equipment and exclusive toys around all day.
