? DC Superheroes: The Filmation Adventures
Two hours of old ’60s DC cartoons, apparently the short ones that bookended the Superman/Aquaman cartoons during the Superman/Aquaman Hour. It also apparently includes the Atom and the Teen Titans, so…neat.
? Naruto Uncut Boxset Volume 9
The start of season five, where Sasuke leaves to go train with Orochimaru, because he’s a total jackass.
? CJ7
This is the weird kinda sci-fi flick from Stephen Chow of Shaolin Soccer and Kung Fu Hustle fame. After those two flicks, I thought I’d watch anything he made, but…CJ7 proved me wrong.
? Strawberry Shortcake Rockaberry Roll
If you wanted to see the new Strawberry Shortcake in action, then look no further than this DVD. Contains graphic sexual content.
? Ninja Cheerleaders
Some DVDs make it to “DVD Day” on title alone, because the plot summary (“hey fight, they cheer, they strip and they re headed for Brown! Ninja Cheerleaders is a funny and fast action comedy about three cheerleaders who are Straight A students by day and fighting warriors at night.”) isn’t doing it for me. However, it says it stars George Takei, which certainly doesn’t hurt. I’d like to think George is the girls’ cheerleading/ninja coach, but I bet he’s the bad guy.
