The Green Hornet Movie Is Getting Wackier
Although Stephen Chow has 100% dropped out of the Green Hornet movie, never fear — a new director has been found, and this one even speaks English (kind of). Michel Gondry of Be Kind Rewind and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind fame has been selected, and while I don’t think anyone would put him on the short list of people who should be directing superhero films… hell, it’s Green Hornet. Starring Seth Rogen. If you’re one of the dozen people who were desperately upset about not getting an accurate Green Hornet movie, this doesn’t change anything. Maybe it’ll suck, but it should be interesting as hell to watch.
Oh, I know I should probably have put some kind of Green Hornet pic up top, but I’d much rather make sure everyone’s seen the Gondry-directed Flight of the Conchords video for “Too Many Dicks on the Dance Floor.” It seemed the right thing to do.
