TR Contest: Most Hated Videogame Ending

To the dude who keeps telling me I’m spelling videogames wrong, and that it should be “video games” — fuck off. I understand A.P. Style says “video games” is correct, but 1) I’m a blog, and don’t care what A.P. Style says, and 2) I think “videogames” is more accurate, since “games” refers to all games of all types, while “video” means nothing by itself. Since they can’t be separated and used equally, “videogames” makes the most sense. To conclude: fuck off.

Now, with that off my chest, let’s get to the business of giving out another TR shirt. Since it’s been a while since we’ve done videogames, I figured we’d discuss the videogame endings that pissed us off the most. Now, I include the Kid Icarus screenshot not because I think the ending sucked; however, I once got the special ending where Pit grows big and Athena smooches him. Before the age of the internet, I had no understanding of why this happened, or any proof. No one believed me. I couldn’t replicate it to save my live. I started to believe I imagined the damn thing.

I lived in shame and self-doubt, my bitterness and hatred growing constantly.
