The Evolution of the McDestros

Remember me telling you about the San Diego Comic Con exclusive movie Destro two-pack from Hasbro? JoeBattleLines grabbed the first pics (that I know of) and I figured it’d be worth sharing. First up is modern, Chris Eccleston business suit Destro:

Obviously, he comes with his mask. I much prefer his Scottish Nazi garb from G.I. Joe: Resolute, but I can see Destro working as a business man, so I’m not going to give the live-action movie too much guff for that. Not when the the two-pack also includes Destro’s mighty ancestor James McCullin IX:

First off, it’s important to remember that goatees have been symbols for evil from the dawn of man. The goatee is so evil even alternate universes know they’re evil, hence “Mirror, Mirror.” Meanwhile, if you think Ancient McDestro’s armor looks familiar…

…then you might have seen Bram Stoker’s Dracula, in which Vlad the Impaler wears a similarly maroon suit of armor. It’s not quite as exact as Crunchberry Commander and Jason X, but it’s close enough that I wonder if having an imagination got you barred from working on the film.
