Hey, If It Worked for Street Fighter II…
Capcom has announced Super Street Fighter 4, and everyone’s acting surprised. Okay, maybe not surprised, but pissed that Super Street Fighter 4 is going to come out next spring for $30 or $30, when they just bought Street Fighter 4 a few months ago for $60. Admittedly, SSF4 will have eight new playable characters including T. Hawk, Dee Jay and South Korean newcomer Juri, as well as some gameplay tweaks, but I think it’s more of a timing issue than anything (too soon, guys). Capcom swears there’ll be some sort of bonus for owning both copies of the game, but unless they’ve found a way to make consoles print a $20, I don’t know if it’ll be enough. But I do know that if you were planning on buying SF4, you should probably just wait.
