Crap of the Titans
The other big trailer that popped up yesterday evening was for the Clash of the Titans, and I’m pretty sure I’m alone in asking, “What the fuck is this shit?” Now, I’ve mentioned before that I’m a big fan of the original and of Greek myths, so I’m hard to please on this subject anyways (as is my nerd prerogative). But this… this looks like 300 to me, and not in a good way. What’s the deal with the giant scorpions? Who are all the dudes with shit on their faces? Will generic hard rock be playing the entire movie? Is Perseus really going to “stand up” and fight for his people’s freedom against the evil, democracy-hating monsters? And most importantly, will titans actually clash in a movie called Clash of the Titans? Really? Are you sure? Goddammit.
