??? Toy News International snapped this picture at Toy Fair of NECA’s Jonah Hex figure that shows in loving detail just how screwed up and gnarly Josh Brolin’s face is going to be in the film. All in all, it’s a terrific likeness. Do you think at any point Brolin met up with Aaron Eckhart to discuss the annoyances of partial face prosthetics?

???? Earlier today we took a look at Bif Bang Pow!’s Venture Bros. figures, but that’s hardly the only big license they are showing off at Toy Fair. From their Twilight Zone line comes this Gremlin figure from “The Nightmare at 20,000 Feet” episode. Insert joke about tormenting the shit out of Mego Captain Kirk here. (Via Figures.com)

?? Gorillaz are the best fake cartoon rock band since Cold Slither. Responsible for the group’s ever-changing look is Jamie Hewlett — a bloke who also made a name for himself as the co-creator of Tank Girl. Thanks to the Lori Petty film adaptation of the comic, the property has gotten a bit of a bad reputation over the years. Well, the backlash against the backlash is underway, with threeA Toys claiming the Tank Girl license for their own. The company is also working on toys based on 2000 AD — so it’s a golden age for fans of esoteric British comics. No word yet on exactly what will be released or when, but you can bet that it will have no visual link to the Petty bomb. Which admittedly isn’t all that terrible. Sorry. (Via Toys R Evil
