A Tale of Two Nukems
Neither of which are coming out, of course. But go back to this Duke Nukem Forever video leaked in May of last year, featuring an immense amount of character and enemy animations, some neat environments, and generally, some shit you might want to play. Now watch the above Duke Nukem Forever video, leaked last Sunday, and tell me that this game looks even half as good as the previous version. Obviously, since DNF was in development for 1900 or so years, maybe this is from an earlier stage, when the characters were flat and static and it was all lame puzzles and shoot-outs in drab warehouses and even the underwater space tentacle fight looked kind of dull and lifeless. I don’t know. All I know is that I genuinely regretted the previous DNF not coming out, and I couldn’t give less of a shit about this one. (Via Geekologie)
