?Ladies and gentlemen, grab your magical turtles and rainbow-shooting cellos, and start your livers. From the Hollywood Reporter:

NBC still has a couple major titles on the bubble for renewal — namely “Chuck” and “Heroes” — but sources indicate both will probably return, with “Heroes” likely receiving a 13-episode “final season” order.

Now that I’ve had a break from Heroes for several month, and my soul has had a chance to recover from what was certainly the worst, stupidest show on primetime network TV, I admit a certain morbid curiosity to see if Heroes can actually get worse. I mean, my brain says no — that no human being could find stupider, more irritating ways to keep Hiro out of the action, more awful new characters, more ridiculous plot holes, more character motivations that change randomly each episode — but my heart keeps telling me that Kring is capable of everything. So stock up your bars, boys and girls — the ride isn’t over yet. Thanks to Sean B. for the tip.
