Like a nerdcore David St. Hubbins, MC Chris has made a career out of straddling the line between stupid and clever. Decide for yourself what category his latest song falls into while you watch the above tribute to Twin Peaks. It’s disappointing that he didn’t rhyme anything with “fish in the percolator,” but you’ve got to admit that this song — complete with liberal amounts of auto-tuning and an earworm of a chorus– totally nails the disposable style of contemporary Top 40 radio. (For better or for worse). If Justin Bieber, Eminem and David Lynch ever recorded a song together, it would sound exactly like this.
