Capcom released this teaser — and note I say teaser, not trailer, because there’s not a frame of an actual videogame in this thing — for something called Mega Man Universe, and it’s kind of blowing my mind. Is this really going to be a game where Mega Man can turn into…
? Dr. Wily’s evil robots? ? Ryu from Street Fighter? ? Arthur from Ghosts n’ Goblins? ? An 8-bit, 2-D version of himself? ? That godawful middle-aged man from the cover of the original Mega Man NES game?
If this shit is real, I’m already interested in handing over my money to Capcom. In fact, one might say I’m “mega” interested! And then one might beat me to death, and no court in the world would convict you.

Under his tenure Topless Robot was covered by Gawker, Wired, Defamer, New York magazine, ABC News, and others, and his articles have been praised by Roger Ebert, Avengers actor Clark Gregg, comedian and The Daily Show correspondent John Hodgman, the stars of Mystery Science Theater 3000 and Rifftrax, and others. Despite decades as both an amateur and professional nerd, he continues to be completely unprepared for either the zombie apocalypse or the robot uprising.
