Who Wants These Doctor Who Action Figures?
Since Rob is flying off to England as I type, it seems right to have the final post of today be somewhat related to Brits. So before you could say “Tardis” I decided to put up this UK TV spot promoting Character Options/Underground Toys current Doctor Who line. You’ve got to love the production design detail thrown into this ad — everything from Amy Pond’s backyard to the Weeping Angel-infused Maze of the Dead makes an appearance. I suppose toy commercials have come a long way since the days of Star Wars figure spots which primarily consisted of kids on a soundstage shouting “WAMPA” for no good reason.
Okay, those were kind of terrific come to think of it…
