The Trailer for Immortals, a.k.a. 301
Apparently I didn’t post the first trailer for Tarsem Singh’s 300-esque ancient war movie Immortals, but here’s the second. It’s pretty much 300 but with the Greek gods involved, which means the Classics major inside me has a total boner for this movie. Of course, I’m one of the few people who still really love 300 — I know it’s part of the Frank Miller/Zack Snyder backlash, but I still watch it every few months, usually when I’m too drunk to play videogames, and it’s still massively entertaining. So the idea of someone remaking 300, but less Frank Miller-y and more Tarsem Singh-y, just sounds totally awesome to me, sorry. I can’t help it. (Via First Showing)
