Warner Bros. Has No Real Desire for You to See the Dark Knight Rises Prologue

?WB just officially announced that the six-minute Dark Knight Rises prologue will be released on December 16th, in front of Mission: Impossible: Ghost: Protocol. But don’t think that means you’ll get to see it; the prologue will only be shown in 70mm IMAX theaters, and select ones at that — indeed, only 33 cities will have the honor of running the prologue at all. Do you live in one of any of the other tens of thousands of cities in the U.S. and Canada? Too fucking bad. Do you live in New York City? Well, good luck, because only one theater in the entire city is showing it (West Nyack is not in NYC, no matter what that list says, I promise). I put the full list of cities and theaters that are getting the prologue after the jump if you’d like to see if you’re one of the exalted few who Warner Bros. would like to make interested in DKR.
