This is a Star Trek-themed commercial for the purveyors of mattresses known as Dodds Furniture. Its majesty is less in the obvious jokes, like “Set your phaser to savings!” and more in the fantastic special effect the USS Mattress flying through space, and the weirdness of having Scotty — a Scotty, not the Scotty, obviously — lounging sensuously on a mattress behind “Captain Kirk.” Warning: I’d seriously consider drinking a cup of coffee before you watch this madness.
