The Life and Times of Doug Rattman, Aperture Scientist
I can’t remember if I posted a preview trailer for “Lab Ratt,” a short, fan-made film about Doug Rattman, the Aperture scientist who ends up writing all the crazy shit on the walls in the Portal games and whose story was told officially in the Lab Rat comic. It doesn’t really matter if I did or didn’t, because “Lab Ratt” is an incredibly well done fan flick that examines what happened before Chell woke up in the first Portal game, and you should watch it. It starts a little slow, but once it gets going, it’s pretty outstanding — I don’t want to spoil anything but it involves which involves an Aperture scientist, GlaDOS, mayhem, drugs, death, and a dude talking to a Weighted Companion Cube. At any rate, there are far, far worse ways to spend your lunch hour. (Via Kotaku)
