Transformers Fan Film Brings the Back of the Box to Life

Remember these epic space battles from the backs of the original toy packaging? They’d often be recreated in our imaginations, but never in exactly the same way.

Until now. Filmmaker Romain Revert has created a minute-and-a-half short that essentially takes you through a frozen moment in time from one of those battles. You know all those TV commercials that use bullet-time to move the camera through the middle of some big-deal action that’s paused in time?

That, but with G1 Transformers. I think you could say it’s the most faithful-to-source fan film ever, as it uses the actual box art.
