Optimus Prime’s PlayStation 1 Disguise Is Decades Late but Still Cool

You wanna talk about ethics in gaming? Where are the ethics in my games system secretly being an alien robot, hmmmmm?

I’m assuming this variation of Optimus landed in a retro-hipster’s house and scanned his old-school machine…or slipped through a time warp after becoming the most ubiquitous household plaything of the ’90s. Due to Google’s and my failure to understand Japanese, I can’t tell if the description is saying that actual memory cards and controllers will plug into this toy, but I’m pretty sure you don’t have any of those lying around any more to check.

PlayStation 1’s motto was “You are not ready.” Optimus Prime is always ready to roll out. This toy splits the difference – it’ll be ready in February.
