SDCC 2015: Eisner Winners Announced

Looks like somebody’s going to need a longer sash, because the Lumberjanes earned their Sweeping Up badge last night at the Eisners.
Lumberjanes won two awards: Best Publication for Teens and Best New Series, where it beat out some stunning competition – The Fade Out, The Wicked + The Divine and Ms. Marvel. Saga was another big winner, taking home Best Continuing Series and Best Penciller/Inker for Fiona Staples. Brian K. Vaughan also took home the award for Best Webcomic for The Private Eye with his art partner, Marcos Martin. The other huge surprise of the night was Gene Luen Yang – he beat Grant Morrison, Kelly Sue DeConnick, BKV, G. Willow Wilson and Jason Aaron for Best Writer for his work on Avatar and The Shadow Hero. The full list of awards is below. Congrats to all the winners!
