The Venture Bros: An Interview with creators Doc Hammer and Jackson Publick

I’ve been a huge Venture Bros fan for something like 17 years now, so when the opportunity to talk with its creators Doc Hammer and Jackson Publick came up, I jumped at the opportunity.

Through nerves that were only fed by audio delays on the phone, I managed to get a few coherent questions out, and just let Doc and Jackson do what they do best.

We touched on the important things: Season 8? Yeah, that’s probably happening. Ryan’s Hope? It was apparently a soap opera. The reason Venture Bros has always had such large delays between seasons? It’s just Doc and Jackson running the show, writing, drawing, and voice acting.

Give the full interview a listen above, and get excited for Season 7 of The Venture Bros hitting stores on DVD and Blu-Ray on June 4th!
